An uncommon, cross-disciplinary executive leader with more than 20 years of international experience across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, he operates at the intersection of creative leadership and business management within the communication and media industry, bringing a hands-on, strategic approach to P&L management and a proven ability to blend creativity, technology, and business insight to scale products, platforms, and teams through international expansion, product launches, and organizational change.

He has led creative campaigns, global brand strategy, and communication innovation for organizations including Axel Springer, Volkswagen, BMW, Bayer, Uniper, RheinEnergie, Deutsche Bahn, Marca, among others, and is recognized for translating complex challenges into powerful creative platforms, positioning systems, and integrated marketing ecosystems that deliver audience growth and measurable business impact.

Currently, Saulo serves as Chief Creative Officer at Axel Springer SE, where he is a member of the BILD Chief Editors Board. He oversees a team of more than 200 professionals across product innovation, video, design, and storytelling, shaping creativity, visual identity, and audience engagement. Over the years, he has contributed to group-wide strategic projects across multiple Axel Springer brands and countries.

Saulo also served as Global Senior Advisor and member of the Global Management Group at Kekst CNC (Publicis Groupe), where he founded and scaled the Kekst CNC Creative Studio, establishing the firm’s global creative offering across 12 countries on three continents. In this role, he positioned creativity as a driver of business impact, supporting the agency’s growth by integrating communication, positioning, and creative operations at scale.
