With an international reputation for award-winning editorial design and visual identity, Santana’s work includes the design and redesign of publications across the world. He is currently Art Director at Bild am Sonntag, (Germany). He was Art Director at Correio Braziliense and at the sport daily Marca. In the last 10 years, he has made different contributions for more than 30 newspapers and magazines from Europe, South America and Middle East.
His work has been awarded and recognized several times by the The Society for News Design, European Newspapers Award, ADC Germany, Esso, SIP and others. Santana has also served as a judge for The Best of Newspaper Design Creative Competition (SND) in New York.
