Known for the international reputation of award-winning editorial design and visual identity, Santana’s work comprises of the design and redesign of publications across the world. He is currently Art Director at Bild am Sonntag in Germany. He was formerly Art Director at Correio Braziliense and at the sport daily Marca. In the last 10 years, he has made different contributions in print and digital for more than 30 newspapers and magazines from Europe, South America and The Middle East.
His work has been awarded and recognized several times by the The Society for News Design (USA), European Newspapers Award, ADC Germany, Esso, SIP and others. Santana has also served as a judge for The Best of Newspaper Design Creative Competition (SND) in New York.
